General Information
We have many on going projects and are always in need of volunteers, so if you're interested please feel free to contact us.
The Al Newkirk Memorial Library
When a dear friend and long-time Habitat and Fuller Center construction supervisor Al Newkirk passed away, his wife Kathy Newkirk donated Al's extensive collection of tools to the Americus-Sumter Fuller Center. Other tools were donated through our partnership with the Cordele Home Depot and from some friends in San Antonio and Atlanta.
With these blessings we decided to create a library so that donors, volunteers and Fuller Center homeowners can check out tools. Our vision of neighbors helping neighbors and being a good steward of God's blessings has created a wonderful community effort.
Our current wish list for the tool library:
Weed Eaters
Leaf Blowers
Tape Measures
Pencils
Chain Saws
Scaffolding

Rev. Kirk Lyman-Barner, Treasurer
Thad Harris, Homeowner and Chair of Construction Committee
